SUPAR Seminar

This is the second annual Substance Use Prevention and Recovery Seminar.  The goal of SUPAR is to educate medical providers and community members about the newest and most effective medical and behavioral health treatment strategies available to help people avoid and recover from substance use disorders.

The seminar will allow attendees to learn how to work together with doctors, psychotherapists, community leaders, judges, law enforcement personnel and substance use recovery survivors to help people overcome opioid, alcohol, amphetamine, marijuana, or benzodiazepines use disorder.

The event will include networking opportunities and an array of exhibits highlighting recovery resources.  SUPAR is a nonprofit event produced by a planning committee composed of representatives from community recovery resources.  For additional details see attached flyer.

Nursing (CNE Credit)
The University of Colorado College of Nursing is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Colorado Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
This educational program for a maximum of 20 contact hours is provided by the University of Colorado College of Nursing Office of Continuing Education.  A CNE certificate will be emailed to participants within 30 days of the completion of the program.

Medical (CME Credit)
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint-providership of Rocky Mountain Health Plans and Road to Recovery representing SUPAR.  Rocky Mountain Health Plans is accredited by the Colorado Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Rocky Mountain Health Plans is reviewing this Live activity for a maximum of 20 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Our programs are priced to provide the best value possible for current healthcare continuing education. Because of this, it is important to provide registration opportunities to all those interested in attending within the capacity allowable.   

If you request cancellation by 5:00 pm on Friday, May 17, 2019, a refund will be issued less a $15.00 processing fee.  

No refunds will be granted after 5/17/19 for cancellations or non-attendance.

If Mountain Medical Road to Recovery must cancel the event, a refund minus handling fees will be granted to participants.
